What does Business Liability cover?

When it comes to business liability there are two things to assess.

  1. Was there an occurrence that resulted in liability to a 3rd party?
  2. Is that occurrence on our list of exclusions?

If the answer to question 1 is yes, and the answer to question 2 is no, then the occurrence should be covered under business liability.

What are the exclusions?

This is not an exhaustive list as there are a few overall policy exclusions that impact liability, however, these are the liability specific exclusions.

  2. Solely arising from a contract.
  3. For warranty.
  4. From any promise of financial performance or return.
  5. Arising out of damage to any property in the care, custody, or control of your business.
    1. (There is a provision under business property property for this coverage)
